MVRsimulation News Issue 60, Fall 2021

Welcome to the MVRsimulation Fall 2021 newsletter.

The big news for our company this quarter is our name change from MetaVR to MVRsimulation. The name change aligns our company more closely with our growing suite of simulation products for the military and commercial training markets. While we have a new name, logo and website, our expertise remains unchanged and we continue to innovate for our customers under our new name of MVRsimulation.

We have announced some significant sales this quarter, including a package of 30 Part Task Mission Trainers (PTMTs), 54 VRSG licenses, a geospecific, 3D replica of Los Llanos Air Base, and a new terrain dataset of La Union, Murcia, to the NATO Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP) headquartered at Los Llanos Air Base, Albacete, Spain.

Other developments include a newly developed, patent-pending flight control stick for the PTMT, which allows the user to switch between side and center stick controls. This design will support the NATO TLP in training customers on a range of 3rd and 4th generation fast combat aircraft.

We continue to improve our eye gaze tracking offerings, with the PTMT now integrated with the Varjo XR-3 mixed reality headset. This integration will deliver increased insight for pilot trainees and instructors into where the pilot's gaze was directed in training engagements, and how it affected mission outcome.

While you're here, we would like to invite you to follow our new social media accounts: LinkedIn and Twitter. Following these new accounts is the simplest way to keep up-to-date with our news and developments in real time, so drop us a follow!

Our user community is key to forward technology development here at MVRsimulation, and as always we welcome any feedback or requests you might have regarding new software features and models - developed by our team free-of-charge for users on active software maintenance. Please get in touch at support@metavr.com.

New and Noteworthy

New sales include a big win for our ultra-low cost, deployable fixed-wing Part Task Mission Trainer with 30 cockpit shells and 54 VRSG licenses delivered to the NATO TLP - the leading center for NATO’s Allied Air Forces tactical training. The simulators have already entered service at Los Llanos Air Base, Albacete, Spain. VRSG has also entered service at the U.S. Air Force Academy's new Multi-Domain Laboratory, with 100 licenses ordered for the program.
